PR Pulse Free License

1. Scope and publisher

This end-user license covers the free production editions of PR Pulse, Treefold and Tagfold distributed under the Bacumi.com publishing name. “Publisher” means the rights holder distributing the software under that name. It does not cover paid editions or separate commercial services. Product availability follows the Marketplace listing and website release status.

2. Acceptance and authority

Review this license before installing or using the extension. By installing or using it, you accept this license to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to accept on its behalf. If you do not accept, do not install or use the extension, and uninstall any copy you control.

3. Free license grant

The Publisher grants you a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to install and run the unmodified extension, and use its accompanying documentation, for lawful personal use and your organization’s internal business purposes in Azure DevOps. Authorized users of that organization may use it under this license. There is no license fee, subscription, license key or automatic paid renewal for these free editions. Microsoft services may have their own charges and requirements.

4. Ownership and restrictions

The software is licensed, not sold. Except for the express grant, the Publisher and its licensors retain their rights. You may not redistribute, sell, sublicense, modify or create derivative works from proprietary parts, remove legal notices, or use the software to gain unauthorized access. Reverse engineering is restricted only to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory rights, including applicable rights to backup, study, test or achieve interoperability, and rights under third-party licenses are preserved. No trademark license is granted beyond the display inherent in authorized use.

5. Your data and actions

You retain your rights in your organization’s data and exports. This license does not grant the Publisher rights to exploit that content. You are responsible for authorization to access, display, export or change data and for protecting downloaded files. PR Pulse indicators are informational; Treefold exports require your review; Tagfold actions can change multiple work items and may complete only partially. Confirm the scope before acting and maintain appropriate recovery procedures.

6. Privacy and Microsoft services

The free extensions run in your browser and call your Azure DevOps organization using your signed-in permissions. They do not send project content to a Bacumi.com backend or include usage analytics, advertising trackers or automatic crash reporting. Preferences and exports are described in the product privacy notice. Microsoft hosts Azure DevOps and the Marketplace under its own terms and privacy statement. Information you voluntarily send to support is handled under the Bacumi.com Privacy Policy.

7. Support, updates and availability

Support is provided by email on a reasonable-efforts basis, without a guaranteed response time, service level, update schedule or availability commitment. Updates may change features or compatibility. Discontinuation or future paid products do not retroactively create a fee for these free editions. Material changes to this license will be identified by a new version or date and provided with the relevant release; they do not silently replace the license for an earlier distributed copy.

8. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To that same extent, the Publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruption or loss of data. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury. Mandatory consumer rights and statutory remedies remain unaffected.

9. Termination

You may end use at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting copies you control. The Publisher may terminate the license for a material breach that remains unremedied after reasonable notice where a remedy is possible. On termination, stop using and remove the proprietary extension copies you control. Your own data and exports remain yours; uninstalling does not erase Azure DevOps records, undo Tagfold changes or remove downloaded files. Provisions intended to survive, including ownership and lawful liability limits, continue to apply.

10. Third-party and earlier licenses

Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses and notices supplied with the distribution. Earlier PR Pulse versions distributed under the MIT License retain the rights granted under that license; this license does not revoke them. The proprietary repository notice is separate from this end-user grant.

11. Applicable law and contact

Romanian law and applicable European Union law govern this license, subject to mandatory protections available under the law that applies to you. This does not restrict any mandatory right to bring a claim in your local courts. If a provision is unenforceable, the other provisions continue where legally possible.
